Your Farm is located in central Vermont along the Connecticut River. The land consists mainly of terraced fields with deep, fertile soils.
The farm is very suitable for vegetable production. We raise a wide range of produce, including several varieties of lettuce and salad greens, spinach, swiss chard, kale, carrots, beets, turnips, peas, beans, onions, leeks, fresh herbs, potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, summer squash, melons, watermelon, cut flowers and more! We also raise 50 laying hens for fresh organic brown eggs.
Your Farm is a certified organic farm, which means we meet the production standards established by the USDA for certification. We do not use chemical pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers.
Your Farm is also a sustainable farm, which means we practice crop rotations, erosion control, building soil health and reducing off-farm inputs.
Your Farm is a local farm too, which means we sell our produce directly to people within a 50 mile radius. Because of this commitment, the varieties we grow are not the types found in a typical grocery store because they are not grown to ripen on the truck. They are the tasty varieties grown to be picked fresh and eaten locally. This enhances both the flavor and nutritional value of Your Farm produce.
All produce is available for sale through our store, memberships, area farmers’ markets, and local restaurants.
